Resortecs – REcycling, SORting, TEChnologieS – is an award-winning start-up that develops Design for Disassembly solutions. We drive full circularity in the fashion industry with stitching threads and disassembly systems that make textile recycling easy. We’re scaling up our impact and need your skills to connect us with forward-thinking brands, recyclers, and partners worldwide.

Your responsabilities
As the Marketing & Communications Manager at Resortecs, you are the guardian of our brand and the driver of our public voice. You will define and execute a cohesive marketing and PR strategy that educates and excites stakeholders about Resortecs’ mission. Working closely with our Sales and Public Affairs teams, you will ensure that every communication – from a social media post to a press release – reflects our vision and value.
Your main tasks and responsibilities include:
(1) Develop and implement marketing strategy: Create a marketing & communications roadmap that increases Resortecs’ brand awareness and supports business growth. Plan campaigns around key themes (circular economy, sustainability, innovation) and collaborations, integrating online and offline tactics.
(2) Brand management, PR and Cultural Positioning: Be the brand guardian ensuring all external communications (website, social media, press articles, presentations) are on-brand and reinforce Resortecs’ image as an industry leader. Manage relationships with PR agencies and media outlets; draft press releases and coordinate media opportunities, collaborations, and brand activations such as eco-design awards or co-branding initiatives. Monitor and strengthen Resortecs’ brand image through consistent storytelling, reputation tracking, and high-visibility activations that deepen the brand rather than reinvent it.
(3) Content creation & digital marketing: Oversee the creation of engaging content that attracts and inspires our audience. This includes blog posts, newsletters, case studies, infographics, and videos. Manage Resortecs’ social media channels with a compelling editorial calendar. Use SEO best practices and analytics to optimize our website content and improve our digital presence.
(4) Multi-channel campaigns & events: Design and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns (email, social, paid media, events) that drive lead generation and community engagement. Organize Resortecs’ presence at industry events, trade fairs, and webinars – from concept to on-the-ground execution – to ensure maximum impact and a memorable audience experience.
(5) Customer communications support: Develop toolkits and communication packs for our B2B clients so they can communicate the sustainability story to their teams and their customers. For example, create product launch materials (both physical and digital content) that articulate the “why” and benefits of Resortecs-enabled circular products. Support key clients with messaging around circularity, disassembly, and recycling to amplify the impact.
(6) Internal communications support: Ensure internal alignment by equipping the Resortecs team with on-brand templates, tone-of-voice guidelines, and storytelling tools — so every presentation, report, and pitch consistently reflects our positioning and values. Provide pitching and communication training to team members (e.g., engineers at technology summits) to strengthen their skills and confidence as effective ambassadors of Resortecs.
(7) Team leadership and collaboration: Supervise our graphic designer in producing content. Work hand-in-hand with our Lead Generation and Sales team on aligning campaigns with lead generation goals, and collaborate with the R&D Team to translate technical innovations into clear customer-facing messages. Monitor marketing budgets and ensure initiatives are delivered on time and within scope.
(8) Public affairs alignment: Collaborate with the Head of Public Affairs to ensure consistent messaging across policy, industry coalitions, and media narratives — positioning Resortecs as top-of-mind in both cultural and regulatory debates.
Your profile
• Background & Experience: You have a degree in Marketing, Communication, Business or related field, and 5-8 years of experience in marketing, communications, or brand management (experience in a startup or sustainability-oriented organization is a plus).
• Strategic & hands-on: You can craft high-level strategy but aren’t afraid to roll up your sleeves. You’re equally comfortable defining a brand narrative, analyzing campaign metrics, or tweaking a social media post.
• Excellent communication: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English (our primary business language). You have a flair for storytelling and can adapt messages to different audiences. Proficiency in other languages (French, Dutch, German, etc.) is highly beneficial in our international context.
• Digital marketing savvy: Proven experience with social media management, content marketing, and SEO. You know how to use analytics tools (Google Analytics, social media insights) to guide decisions. Familiarity with marketing automation platforms.
• Creative eye: You have an eye for good design and consistent branding. While you don’t need to be a graphic designer, you can effectively brief and manage creative work. Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop/InDesign or Canva is a plus.
• Interpersonal skills: You’re a team player who can collaborate across departments (sales, technical, executive) and with external partners. You can coach colleagues on communication best practices and manage external agencies or contractors.
• Last but not least, you are passionate about sustainability and innovation. You get excited about how circular economy solutions can change industries, and you’re motivated to spread that excitement to our audiences.
